The China Shanghai Composite Index experienced a modest increase of 0.04% today, continuing its upward trend with a gain of 0.62% over the past five days and a notable rise of 1.97% over the last month. Despite this positive movement in the index, the overall market showed a challenging advance-decline ratio, with 1,900 stocks advancing compared to 2,990 declining, resulting in a ratio of 0.64.In the large-cap segment, Swancor Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. emerged as the top performer, achieving a return of 20.0%. Conversely, Sunwoda Electronic Co., Ltd. faced difficulties, posting a decline of 11.39%. Mid-cap stocks saw Kinco Automation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. leading with a 20.0% return, while Create Technology & Science Co., Ltd. struggled with a drop of 10.02%. Among small caps, Guangzhou Risong Intelligent Technology Holding Co., Ltd. gained 20.01%, while ShuYu Civilian Pharmacy Corp., Ltd. fell by 17.91%.
The advance-decline ratios for large, mid, and small-cap stocks were 0.51, 0.60, and 0.69, respectively, indicating a prevailing trend of declining stocks across all market segments.
