In the mid-cap category, First Majestic Silver Corp. led the way with a notable return of 12.07%, contrasting with MDA Ltd., which saw a decrease of 5.47%. The small-cap sector was highlighted by Algoma Steel Group, Inc., achieving a remarkable return of 16.61%, while Magellan Aerospace Corp. faced a setback with a decline of 7.49%. Overall, the market showed a positive advance-decline ratio of 391 advancing stocks to 213 declining stocks, resulting in a ratio of 1.84x. Notably, the mid-cap stocks performed well with a ratio of 2.33x, while large-cap stocks struggled with 23 advancing and 25 declining. Small-cap stocks also maintained a healthy ratio of 1.47x.
