In the large-cap segment, Celestica, Inc. emerged as the top performer with a return of 3.96%, while Constellation Software, Inc. faced challenges, recording a loss of 7.97%. Mid-cap stocks saw New Gold, Inc. leading with an impressive return of 11.1%, contrasting with Topicus.com, Inc., which fell by 10.62%. Among small-cap stocks, Amerigo Resources Ltd. stood out with a return of 12.87%, while Digihost Technology, Inc. struggled, posting a decline of 11.16%.

The overall market showed a negative advance-decline ratio, with 270 stocks advancing against 397 declining, resulting in a ratio of 0.68x. In the large-cap category, only 10 stocks advanced compared to 42 that declined, yielding a ratio of 0.24x. Mid-cap stocks had 26 advancing and 43 declining, while small-cap stocks saw 113 advancing against 215 declining. This trend reflects a challenging day for investors across various market segments.
