In the mid-cap category, Finning International, Inc. led the way with a return of 3.39%, while Open Text Corp. faced challenges, posting a loss of 4.79%. The small-cap sector saw ADF Group, Inc. shine with an impressive return of 14.99%, while Firan Technology Group Corp. lagged behind with a decline of 10.89%. Overall, the advance-decline ratio across the market indicated a healthy number of advancing stocks, with 361 stocks advancing compared to 308 declining, resulting in a ratio of 1.17. However, large-cap stocks showed a different picture, with 21 advancing and 31 declining, leading to a ratio of 0.68. Mid-cap stocks maintained balance with an equal number of advancing and declining stocks, while small-cap stocks had a near-even split with 159 advancing and 162 declining.
