Today, the stock market is experiencing a mixed trend, with a higher number of declines compared to advances. The BSE500 index has an advance decline ratio of 109:389, indicating a bearish sentiment. The SENSEX is currently trading at 77,047.69 with a loss of 0.68% and is below its 50DMA, while the 50DMA is above its 200DMA, suggesting a bearish trend. Only 4 out of 38 sectors are advancing, with NIFTYPSUBANK being the top losing sector and NIFTYIT being the top gaining sector. The mid-cap segment is trading flat, while Indian Hotels Co, Suzlon Energy, and Peninsula Land are the top gainers in the large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap segments respectively. In terms of upcoming results, Afcons Infrastructure is set to announce its results on 23rd November 2024. Out of the 38 sectors, only 4 are advancing while 34 are declining. The top losing sector is NIFTYPSUBANK with a decline of 4.65%, while the top gaining sector is NIFTYIT with a 0.48% increase.

The mid-cap segment is trading flat today, with no significant changes. Indian Hotels Co is the top gainer in the large-cap segment with a 1.69% increase, while Suzlon Energy is the top gainer in the mid-cap segment with a 3.38% increase. In the small-cap segment, Peninsula Land is leading with a 7.41% increase. On the other hand, Adani Enterprises, ACC, and NDTV are the top losers in the large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap segments respectively.
