In the small-cap category, Concord Biotech is the top gainer with a significant gain of 6.49%. On the other hand, Adani Enterp. is the top loser in the large-cap category with a loss of -21.63%, while ACC is the top loser in the mid-cap category with a loss of -10.11%. NDTV is the top loser in the small-cap category with a loss of -9.12%.

Out of the 37 sectors, only 5 are advancing today, while 32 are declining. The top losing sector is NIFTYPSUBANK with a decline of -4.20%, while the top gaining sector is NIFTYIT with a gain of 0.44%.

The Sensex opened 132.73 points higher but fell sharply by -688.25 points and is currently trading at 77,022.86 (-0.72%). It is also trading below its 50 Day Moving Average (DMA), while the 50DMA is trading above its 200DMA.

The advance-decline ratio across BSE500 is 132 advances and 368 declines, indicating a ratio of 0.36x. The mid-cap, small-cap, and BSE100 caps are also falling by 0.61%, 0.87%, and 0.89%, respectively.

In terms of top gainers and losers in the BSE500 category, Concord Biotech is the top gainer with a gain of 6.49%, followed by Amber Enterp. with a gain of 6.47%, and V I P Inds. with a gain of 5.14%. On the other hand, Adani Enterp. is the top loser with a significant loss of -21.63%, followed by Adani Energy Sol with a loss of -20.00%, and Adani Ports with a loss of -20.00%.
