Trident, a midcap player in the Garments & Apparels industry, has recently undergone an adjustment in its evaluation score. This revision reflects a shift in technical trends, moving from a mildly bearish stance to a sideways position.

Key financial metrics indicate that Trident has demonstrated a strong ability to manage its debt, evidenced by a low Debt to EBITDA ratio of 1.30 times. The company reported positive financial results for Q4 FY24-25, marking a turnaround after five consecutive quarters of negative performance. Notably, its operating profit to interest ratio reached a high of 94.25 times, and profit before tax less other income grew significantly to Rs 152.69 crore, reflecting a growth rate of 154.65%.

Despite a challenging year, where the stock generated a return of -15.04%, Trident's profits have increased by 6.5%. The company holds a market capitalization of Rs 16,465 crore, making it the second largest in its sector, and its annual sales account for 4.12% of the industry. However, long-term growth remains a concern, with net sales and operating profit showing modest annual growth rates over the past five years.
