3M India Faces Profitability Challenges Despite Record Sales and Operational Metrics

3M India has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting challenges in its performance metrics for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported its highest net sales at Rs 1,198.23 crore and achieved a peak PBDIT of Rs 226.73 crore, alongside a notable PBT less other income of Rs 211.72 crore. However, these positive figures are overshadowed by a significant decline in profitability, with the PAT recorded at Rs 71.37 crore and the EPS at Rs 63.33, both marking the lowest levels for the quarter.
In terms of market performance, 3M India’s stock price has seen fluctuations, closing at Rs 28,834.15, down from the previous close of Rs 29,182.20. Over the past year, the stock has underperformed compared to the Sensex, with a return of -13.58% against the Sensex's 9.57%.
