Aditya Birla Capital Sees 16% Surge in Open Interest, Reaching 40,449 Contracts

Aditya Birla Capital Ltd (ABCAPITAL), a prominent player in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector, has experienced a significant increase in open interest today. The latest open interest stands at 40,449 contracts, reflecting a rise of 5,583 contracts or 16.01% from the previous open interest of 34,866. This uptick coincides with a trading volume of 20,260 contracts, indicating heightened activity in the derivatives market.
In terms of price performance, Aditya Birla Capital reached a new 52-week high of Rs. 311.9 today, outperforming its sector by 0.93%. The stock is currently trading above its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, showcasing a strong upward trend. Additionally, the delivery volume on October 24 has increased by 3% compared to the 5-day average, totaling 12.66 lakh shares, which suggests rising investor participation.

With a market capitalization of Rs 80,834.76 crore, Aditya Birla Capital continues to demonstrate robust liquidity, supporting trade sizes of up to Rs 1.68 crore based on 2% of the 5-day average traded value.
