Allcargo Logistics Faces Significant Financial Challenges Amid Declining Transport Sector Performance

Allcargo Logistics has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a challenging performance in the transport services sector. The company reported a significant decline in key financial metrics for the quarter ending June 2025. Notably, the profit after tax (PAT) plummeted to Rs -106.13 crore, marking a drastic drop of 1440.9% compared to the previous four-quarter average. Additionally, net sales fell to Rs 3,816.70 crore, a decrease of 5.0% from the prior average.
The company's operating profit to net sales ratio reached a low of 0.54%, while the profit before tax (PBT) less other income stood at Rs -124.95 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) also hit a low of Rs -1.02, indicating ongoing financial struggles.

In terms of stock performance, Allcargo Logistics has faced a challenging year, with a year-to-date return of -32.48%, significantly underperforming compared to the Sensex, which has seen a return of 2.92% in the same period. Over the past year, the stock has declined by 44.13%, while the Sensex has gained 1.86%.
