Asian Granito Reports Record Sales and Operating Profit Amid Rising Interest Expenses

Asian Granito India has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a notable improvement in its performance metrics for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported its highest operating profit to interest ratio at 3.61 times, indicating strong operational efficiency. Additionally, net sales reached a record Rs 471.62 crore, while PBDIT also peaked at Rs 29.19 crore. The operating profit to net sales ratio stood at an impressive 6.19%, showcasing effective cost management.
However, the company faces challenges as interest expenses grew by 28.41% to Rs 8.09 crore, which could impact overall profitability. Furthermore, non-operating income constituted 44.10% of profit before tax, suggesting reliance on income sources outside core operations.

In terms of market performance, Asian Granito's stock has shown resilience, with a 9.42% return over the past week, significantly outperforming the Sensex, which returned only 0.84% in the same period. Over the last month, the stock returned 24.97%, compared to the Sensex's 1.67%. Despite a challenging year-to-date performance, the company's recent financial metrics indicate a positive trajectory, particularly in operational efficiency and sales growth.
