Asian Star Company Reports Mixed Financial Trends Amid Operational Efficiency Gains

Asian Star Company, operating in the gems, jewellery, and watches sector, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment reflecting its performance for the quarter ending September 2025. The company reported a notable operating cash flow of Rs 230.41 crore, marking a significant achievement in its operational efficiency. Additionally, the dividend payout ratio reached a high of 5.56%, indicating a commitment to returning value to shareholders.
However, the company faces challenges as evidenced by a decline in profit after tax, which fell to Rs 11.70 crore, a decrease of 39.6%. The return on capital employed also dipped to 3.67%, suggesting inefficiencies in utilizing capital for generating profits. Furthermore, cash and cash equivalents were reported at Rs 302.18 crore, the lowest in the half-year period, raising concerns about liquidity.

In terms of market performance, Asian Star's stock has shown mixed results compared to the Sensex. Over the past week, it outperformed the index, but year-to-date and annual returns have lagged significantly behind.
