Bharat Electronics Ltd Sees Surge in Call Options: 46,210 Contracts at 380 Strike Price

Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), a prominent player in the Aerospace & Defense sector, has emerged as one of the most active stocks today, particularly in the options market. The underlying value of BEL stands at Rs 382.95, and the stock recently reached a new 52-week high of Rs 384.95. Despite this achievement, it has underperformed its sector by 0.27% today, reflecting a slight decline of 0.35% in its 1-day return. The stock has also experienced a trend reversal after two consecutive days of gains. However, it remains above its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, indicating a generally positive long-term trend.

With an open interest of 3,168 contracts for the 400 strike price and 3,363 for the 390 strike price, investor participation appears robust, highlighted by a delivery volume of 3.17 crore shares on May 21, which is 58.84% higher than the 5-day average. Bharat Electronics continues to demonstrate liquidity, with a trading capacity sufficient for a trade size of Rs 7.62 crore, reinforcing its position in the market.
