Black Box Reports Stable Performance Amid Rising Interest Expenses and Cash Flow Challenges

Black Box, a small-cap player in the Computers - Software & Consulting industry, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a more stable performance in its latest quarter ending September 2025. The company reported a notable increase in its profit after tax (PAT) for the nine-month period, reaching Rs 205.34 crore, which represents a growth rate of 20.48%. Additionally, Black Box achieved its highest net sales for the quarter at Rs 1,584.59 crore and recorded a peak PBDIT of Rs 143.33 crore.
However, challenges remain, particularly in operating cash flow, which stands at a low of Rs -87.61 crore. The company also faces rising interest expenses, which have grown by 23.34% to Rs 120.26 crore over the nine-month period.

In terms of market performance, Black Box has shown resilience with a stock return of 3.16% over the past week, outperforming the Sensex, which returned 1.68% in the same timeframe. Over the longer term, the company has significantly outpaced the Sensex, with a remarkable 341.21% return over the past five years, compared to the Sensex's 94.99%. This performance highlights the company's ability to navigate market fluctuations effectively.
