Bombay Super Hybrid Seeds Faces Mixed Financial Trends Amidst Growth and Declines

Bombay Super Hybrid Seeds has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a flat performance for the quarter ending March 2025. The company's financial score has seen a notable decline over the past three months.
On a positive note, the company reported net sales of Rs 173.77 crore over the latest six months, marking a significant growth of 63.23%. Additionally, the profit after tax (PAT) for the same period reached Rs 13.22 crore, reflecting a growth of 32.07%. The debtors turnover ratio also stands out, achieving a high of 53.46 times, indicating efficient management of receivables.

However, challenges persist. The quarterly net sales dropped to Rs 45.91 crore, a decline of 46.5% compared to the previous four-quarter average. Profit before tax, excluding other income, fell to Rs 3.88 crore, down 33.2%, while PAT for the quarter decreased by 33.3% to Rs 4.22 crore. The return on capital employed (ROCE) is at its lowest point of 17.39%, and interest expenses have risen to Rs 1.91 crore.

In terms of market performance, Bombay Super Hybrid Seeds has shown resilience over the long term, with a remarkable 1,240.04% return over five years, significantly outperforming the Sensex. However, year-to-date returns indicate a decline of 6.65%, contrasting with the Sensex's positive performance.
