Brahmaputra Infrastructure Reports Strong Financial Turnaround Amid Rising Interest Expenses

Brahmaputra Infrastructure has recently undergone a significant evaluation revision, reflecting a notable turnaround in its financial performance for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported its highest net sales at Rs 103.10 crore, alongside a peak PBDIT of Rs 31.23 crore. The operating profit margin also reached an impressive 30.29%, indicating strong operational efficiency. Furthermore, the profit before tax, excluding other income, stood at Rs 21.73 crore, while the profit after tax hit Rs 22.21 crore, resulting in an earnings per share of Rs 7.65.
However, the company faces challenges, particularly with interest expenses, which reached Rs 9.14 crore, impacting overall profitability.

In terms of market performance, Brahmaputra Infrastructure has shown resilience compared to the Sensex. Over the past week, the stock returned 44.03%, significantly outpacing the Sensex's slight decline. The one-month return of 53.43% further highlights the company's strong recovery trajectory, especially when viewed against the backdrop of a 31.04% year-to-date return. Over the longer term, the stock has demonstrated remarkable growth, with a 244.33% return over five years, compared to the Sensex's 171.75%.
