BSE Ltd Sees Surge in Active Put Options with 5,780 Contracts at ₹2,700 Strike

BSE Ltd has emerged as one of the most active stocks in the options market today, particularly in the put options segment. The company, operating within the capital markets industry, has seen significant trading activity in its put options with various strike prices set for expiry on July 31, 2025.
Among the notable trades, the put option with a strike price of 2700 led the activity, with 5,780 contracts traded and a turnover of approximately Rs 2,659.46 lakhs. Other active strike prices included 2400, 2650, and 2300, with respective contracts traded of 3,903, 2,062, and 1,971.

Despite this activity, BSE Ltd's stock performance today underperformed the sector by 4.58%, with a one-day return of -4.08%. The stock's underlying value stands at Rs 2,709.20, and it remains liquid enough for trades sized at Rs 17.88 crore, based on 2% of the five-day average traded value. The stock is currently above its 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, although it is below its 5-day and 20-day moving averages.
