Surge in Active Put Options: CDSL Sees 5,965 Contracts at Rs 1,700 Strike

Central Depository Services (India) Ltd (CDSL) has emerged as one of the most active stocks in the options market today, particularly in the put options segment. The underlying value of CDSL stands at Rs 1,709.00.

In terms of performance, CDSL has outperformed its sector by 0.33% today, trading above its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages. The stock has also experienced a rise in investor participation, with a delivery volume of 28.7 lakh shares, reflecting a 16.04% increase compared to the 5-day average. Despite a one-day return of -0.22%, the stock remains liquid, suitable for trades up to Rs 32.86 crore based on 2% of the 5-day average traded value.
