Century Enka Reports Mixed Financial Trends Amidst Market Fluctuations and Stability Efforts

Century Enka, a microcap player in the Garments & Apparels industry, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a more stable performance in its latest quarter ending September 2025. The company reported a notable increase in profit before tax, reaching Rs 17.11 crore, which marks a significant growth compared to its previous four-quarter average. Additionally, the profit after tax hit a record high of Rs 22.33 crore, and earnings per share also peaked at Rs 10.22.
However, not all metrics showed positive movement. The profit after tax for the nine-month period was Rs 44.47 crore, indicating a decline of 32.61%. Furthermore, net sales for the quarter fell to Rs 408.70 crore, down by 12.8% compared to the previous four-quarter average.

In terms of stock performance, Century Enka has faced challenges, with returns lagging behind the Sensex over various time frames. Over the past year, the stock has declined by 28.18%, while the Sensex has gained 3.65%. Despite these hurdles, the company has shown resilience over a longer horizon, with a 160.84% increase over the past five years, compared to the Sensex's 98.87% rise.
