Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd (CHAMBLFERT) has experienced a notable increase in open interest today, reflecting heightened activity in the derivatives market. The latest open interest stands at 20,184 contracts, up from the previous figure of 17,987, marking a change of 2,197 contracts or a 12.21% increase. The trading volume for the day reached 14,645 contracts, indicating robust participation.
In terms of price performance, Chambal Fertilisers has outperformed its sector by 0.67%, despite a slight decline of 1.37% in its stock price today. The stock touched an intraday low of Rs 553, down 2.17%. Notably, the weighted average price suggests that more volume was traded closer to this low price point. While the stock remains above its 20-day and 200-day moving averages, it is currently below the 5-day, 50-day, and 100-day moving averages.

The fertilizers sector overall has seen a decline of 2.07%, and investor participation appears to be waning, with delivery volume dropping by 45.06% compared to the five-day average.
