Chartered Capital & Investment, a microcap in the NBFC sector, reported flat performance for the quarter ending September 2025, with a decline in its score. Despite a 55.98% growth in profit after tax over six months, challenges persist in cash generation and key performance indicators. Long-term market performance remains strong, though recent returns have underperformed compared to the Sensex.
Chartered Capital & Investment, a microcap player in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a flat performance for the quarter ending September 2025. The company's score has seen a notable decline over the past three months, indicating challenges in certain operational areas.

On a positive note, the company's profit after tax (PAT) for the latest six months stands at Rs 3.65 crore, showcasing a significant growth rate of 55.98%. This growth highlights the company's ability to generate earnings despite the broader challenges it faces.

However, several key performance indicators reveal areas of concern. The operating cash flow has reached a low of Rs -13.55 crore, suggesting difficulties in cash generation from core operations. Additionally, both the profit before depreciation, interest, and taxes (PBDIT) and profit before tax less other income for the quarter are at their lowest, recorded at Rs 1.14 crore.

In terms of market performance, Chartered Capital has shown resilience over the long term, with impressive returns over three, five, and ten-year periods compared to the Sensex. However, recent weekly and monthly returns have lagged behind the benchmark index, indicating a need for strategic adjustments to enhance competitiveness in the current market landscape.
