Colgate-Palmolive (India) has reported a decline in profit after tax and net sales for the quarter ending June 2025, alongside a drop in earnings per share. The company's debtors turnover ratio has also reached a low point, indicating operational challenges and a need for strategic reassessment amid recent stock underperformance.
Colgate-Palmolive (India) has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting challenges in its performance metrics for the quarter ending June 2025. The company's profit after tax (PAT) has reported a decline, standing at Rs 320.62 crore, which is a decrease of 10.7% compared to the previous four-quarter average. Additionally, the net sales have reached a low of Rs 1,434.06 crore, and the earnings per share (EPS) have also dipped to Rs 11.79, marking a concerning trend for the company.

The debtors turnover ratio has hit its lowest point at 26.52 times, indicating potential issues in managing receivables. Furthermore, the profit before tax, less other income, has fallen to Rs 414.01 crore, down by 7.5% from the previous average. These metrics suggest that Colgate-Palmolive is facing significant operational hurdles.

In terms of stock performance, Colgate-Palmolive has underperformed compared to the Sensex over various time frames. Year-to-date, the stock has declined by 11.32%, while the Sensex has gained 5.18%. Over the past year, the stock has dropped by 23.97%, contrasting with the Sensex's modest increase of 2.09%. Despite a strong performance over three, five, and ten years, the recent trends highlight a need for strategic reassessment as the company navigates its current challenges.
