Compucom Software Reports Improved Profitability Amidst Declining Sales and Market Challenges

Compucom Software has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting notable changes in its performance metrics for the quarter ending June 2025. The company has reported a significant improvement in its financial score, indicating a shift in its operational efficiency and profitability.
Key performance indicators reveal that Compucom has achieved its highest operating profit to interest ratio at 4.30 times, alongside a record PBDIT of Rs 2.28 crore. The operating profit to net sales ratio stands at an impressive 25.97%, while profit before tax, excluding other income, reached Rs 0.32 crore. Additionally, the company reported a PAT of Rs 1.34 crore and an EPS of Rs 0.17, showcasing its ability to generate profit effectively.

However, challenges remain, particularly with net sales for the nine-month period, which have declined by 31.20% to Rs 26.50 crore. The cash and cash equivalents are at their lowest, recorded at Rs 50.27 crore, and non-operating income constitutes a significant 82.32% of profit before tax.

In terms of market performance, Compucom's stock has shown varied returns compared to the Sensex. Over the past week, it has outperformed the index, while year-to-date and annual returns indicate a decline. Despite these fluctuations, the company has demonstrated resilience, particularly over a five-year horizon, where it has significantly outpaced the Sensex.
