Craftsman Automation Reports Strong Financial Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses

Craftsman Automation, a midcap player in the auto components and equipment industry, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment reflecting its robust performance in the quarter ending June 2025. The company reported a significant increase in key financial metrics, with a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 151.95 crore, marking a growth of 31.53% over the last six months. Additionally, net sales reached an impressive Rs 1,784.00 crore, while the profit before depreciation, interest, and taxes (PBDIT) stood at Rs 264.94 crore, both representing the highest figures recorded.
However, not all aspects of the company's financial health are as favorable. Interest expenses have also risen, totaling Rs 134.22 crore, which reflects a growth of 34.80%. Furthermore, the return on capital employed (ROCE) for the half-year is at a relatively low 9.81%, indicating potential areas for improvement.

In terms of market performance, Craftsman Automation has outperformed the Sensex over various time frames, including a notable 20.8% year-to-date return compared to the Sensex's 4.09%. This trend highlights the company's resilience and ability to navigate market challenges effectively.
