Craftsman Automation Reports Record Sales Amid Rising Debt Concerns and Market Resilience

Craftsman Automation has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a notable performance in the auto components and equipment sector. The company reported its highest quarterly net sales at Rs 2,001.59 crore for September 2025, alongside a peak in PBDIT at Rs 301.90 crore. Profit before tax, excluding other income, also reached a record high of Rs 116.23 crore, contributing to a robust profit after tax of Rs 91.22 crore. The earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 38.08, indicating strong operational efficiency.
However, the company faces challenges with a debt-equity ratio of 1.09 times, which may raise concerns regarding financial leverage. Additionally, interest expenses reached Rs 77.01 crore, highlighting the cost of servicing debt.

In terms of market performance, Craftsman Automation has shown resilience, with a year-to-date return of 26.86%, significantly outperforming the Sensex, which returned 8.72% in the same period. Over the past year, the stock has delivered a return of 45.18%, further illustrating its strong market position.
