Cupid, a small-cap player in the FMCG sector, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a notable improvement in its performance metrics for the quarter ending September 2025. The company reported its highest net sales at Rs 84.45 crore, alongside a peak PBDIT of Rs 28.41 crore and a PBT less other income of Rs 26.41 crore. Additionally, Cupid achieved a record PAT of Rs 24.13 crore, with an operating profit margin to net sales reaching 33.64%. The earnings per share also hit a high of Rs 0.90, showcasing robust operational efficiency.
However, not all aspects of Cupid's financial health are favorable. The company reported its lowest operating cash flow for the year at Rs -11.14 crore, indicating potential liquidity challenges. Furthermore, the dividend per share and the dividend payout ratio both stood at zero, suggesting a lack of returns to shareholders. In terms of market performance, Cupid has significantly outperformed the Sensex over various time frames. Over the past year, the stock has returned 262.50%, compared to the Sensex's 8.74%. This trend highlights Cupid's strong recovery and market positioning within the FMCG industry.
