Gillanders Arbuthnot Reports Mixed Financial Trends Amid Strong Growth in Key Metrics

Gillanders Arbuthnot & Company, a microcap player in the FMCG sector, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a notable shift in its performance metrics. The company reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ending September 2025, with significant growth in key areas. Profit Before Tax (PBT) less Other Income reached Rs 13.59 crore, marking a remarkable growth of 590.7% compared to the previous four-quarter average. Additionally, Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at Rs 14.26 crore, reflecting a growth of 173.1% against the same benchmark. Net sales also hit a record high of Rs 132.28 crore.
However, not all metrics are performing positively. Over the latest six months, PAT has shown a decline of 24.46%, and the Debtors Turnover Ratio for the half-year is at its lowest, recorded at 6.74 times.

In terms of stock performance, Gillanders Arbuthnot has outperformed the Sensex over various time frames, particularly in the one-year and three-year comparisons, where it achieved returns of 16.75% and 66.55%, respectively. This performance highlights the company's resilience and ability to navigate market challenges effectively.
