Greenlam Industries Reports Strong Sales Amidst Declining Profitability and Financial Challenges

Greenlam Industries, a midcap player in the plywood boards and laminates sector, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment reflecting its performance for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported a notable achievement in its debtors turnover ratio, which reached 16.40 times, indicating efficient management of receivables. Additionally, net sales for the quarter were robust at Rs 681.77 crore, showcasing strong revenue generation capabilities.
However, the company is facing significant challenges. Profit After Tax (PAT) plummeted to Rs 2.08 crore, marking a drastic decline of 94.9%. Other concerning metrics include a return on capital employed (ROCE) of just 7.39%, the lowest recorded, and an operating profit to interest ratio of 3.21 times, also at a low point. Furthermore, the earnings per share (EPS) fell to Rs 0.08, reflecting ongoing profitability issues.

Over the past week, the stock declined by 5.69%, while it has shown a strong performance over the last five years with a return of 346.56%.
