Hero MotoCorp Sees 13.55% Surge in Open Interest Amid Increased Trading Activity

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. has experienced a significant increase in open interest today, reflecting heightened activity in the stock. The latest open interest stands at 67,012 contracts, up from the previous figure of 59,014, marking a change of 7,998 contracts or a 13.55% increase. This surge coincides with a trading volume of 78,088 contracts, indicating robust market engagement.
In terms of price performance, Hero MotoCorp is currently trading close to its 52-week high, just 1.33% away from the peak of Rs 5,717. The stock has shown resilience, gaining 1.92% today, outperforming its sector, which returned 0.90%, and the Sensex, which rose by 0.68%. Notably, the stock has reversed its trend after two consecutive days of decline, reaching an intraday high of Rs 5,662, a 2.19% increase.
