Hubtown Reports Mixed Financial Trends Amid Strong Market Performance and Rising Costs

Hubtown, a small-cap player in the realty sector, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting its performance in the quarter ending September 2025. The company reported a notable increase in several key financial metrics, showcasing its operational strengths. Profit Before Tax (PBT) less Other Income for the quarter reached Rs 3.71 crore, marking a significant growth of 287.5% compared to the previous four-quarter average. Additionally, the latest six-month Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 103.34 crore, while the Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) for the half-year was recorded at 7.77%, the highest to date.
However, not all indicators were favorable. The quarterly PAT was reported at Rs 24.06 crore, reflecting a decline of 20% against the previous four-quarter average. Interest expenses also rose to Rs 26.85 crore, an increase of 72.45%. Furthermore, non-operating income constituted a substantial 93.66% of the PBT, indicating a reliance on income sources outside of core operations.

In terms of market performance, Hubtown has outperformed the Sensex over various time frames, including a year-to-date return of 22.73% compared to the Sensex's 8.22%. Over the past three years, Hubtown's stock has surged by 518.37%, significantly exceeding the Sensex's 37.22% return. This performance highlights the company's resilience and growth trajectory in a competitive market.
