ICRA Adjusts Financial Trends Amidst Strong Cash Flow and Profit Growth Challenges

ICRA, a midcap player in the capital markets sector, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a flat performance for the quarter ending June 2025. The company's score has notably decreased over the past three months, indicating a shift in its financial dynamics.
On the positive side, ICRA has reported robust operating cash flow, reaching Rs 93.74 crore, and a significant growth in profit after tax for the nine-month period, amounting to Rs 140.21 crore, which reflects a growth rate of 22.41%. Additionally, the company holds a strong position in cash and cash equivalents, with a high of Rs 281.53 crore.

However, challenges persist. The profit before tax, excluding other income for the quarter, has seen a decline of 13.1% compared to the previous four-quarter average, and non-operating income constitutes a substantial 41.73% of profit before tax, indicating reliance on income sources outside of core operations.

Over the past year, ICRA has outperformed the index with a return of 17.35%, while the Sensex has seen a decline of 0.68%.
