IIFL Finance Sees Significant Open Interest Surge Amid Active Market Participation

The latest open interest stands at 14,811 contracts, reflecting a rise of 1,768 contracts or 13.56% from the previous open interest of 13,043. This uptick is accompanied by a trading volume of 7,047 contracts, indicating active market participation.
In terms of financial performance, IIFL Finance has outperformed its sector with a 1.24% return today, compared to a sector return of 0.25% and a Sensex return of 0.31%. The stock has shown resilience, gaining after three consecutive days of decline. Currently, it is trading above its 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, although it remains below the 5-day and 20-day moving averages.

The liquidity of IIFL Finance is noteworthy, with a delivery volume of 11.44 lakh shares on July 28, which has surged by 69.7% against the 5-day average delivery volume. The stock's market capitalization is approximately Rs 21,210 crore, positioning it firmly within the large-cap category.
