Surge in Open Interest for Indian Energy Exchange Signals Increased Market Activity Amid Challenges

Indian Energy Exchange Ltd (IEX), a mid-cap player in the capital markets sector, has experienced a notable increase in open interest today. The underlying value of the stock is currently at Rs 134, which is just 2.28% away from its 52-week low of Rs 131.5.

Despite the increase in open interest, IEX has been facing downward pressure, having lost 1.09% over the last two days. The stock is trading below its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, indicating a bearish trend. Additionally, delivery volume has decreased significantly, falling by 65.33% compared to the 5-day average.
