Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) has experienced a significant increase in open interest today, reflecting heightened activity in its trading. The latest open interest stands at 19,770 contracts, up from the previous 17,103 contracts, marking a change of 2,667 contracts or a 15.59% increase. The trading volume for the day reached 22,767 contracts, indicating robust market engagement.
In terms of price performance, IREDA opened with a gain of 2%, reaching an intraday high of Rs 155.37, which represents a 4.49% increase from the previous close. The stock has outperformed its sector by 4.37% today, while the broader market, as represented by the Sensex, has shown a modest gain of 0.26%.

Despite this positive price movement, there has been a noted decline in investor participation, with delivery volume falling by 15.47% compared to the five-day average. IREDA's liquidity remains adequate, with a trading capacity of Rs 1.84 crore based on 2% of the five-day average traded value.
