Interglobe Aviation Sees Surge in Active Call Options with 6,121 Contracts Traded

Interglobe Aviation Ltd, operating under the brand name INDIGO, has emerged as one of the most active stocks in the airline sector today. As of today, 6,121 contracts were traded, resulting in a turnover of approximately Rs 1,053.97 lakh, while open interest stands at 1,199 contracts.
Despite its active trading, Interglobe Aviation has faced challenges, with the stock experiencing a consecutive decline over the past two days, resulting in a total drop of 6.55%. Today, the stock opened down by 5.05%, reaching an intraday low of Rs 5,176, reflecting a 5.49% decrease. In terms of performance metrics, the stock has outperformed its sector by 0.64%, although it remains below its 5-day, 20-day, and 50-day moving averages, while still above the 100-day and 200-day averages.

Investor participation has shown a rise, with delivery volume increasing by 23.19% compared to the 5-day average, indicating a liquidity level sufficient for a trade size of Rs 12.9 crore. Overall, while Interglobe Aviation is navigating a challenging market environment, its trading activity remains robust, highlighting ongoing interest in the stock.
