IRM Energy has reported a stable financial performance for the quarter ending June 2025, with net sales reaching Rs 530.36 crore and a notable operating profit to interest ratio of 7.31 times. However, a significant decline in profit after tax over six months raises concerns about profitability.
IRM Energy, a small-cap player in the gas industry, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a more stable performance in its latest quarter ending June 2025. The company's net sales for the last six months reached Rs 530.36 crore, showcasing a growth rate of 20.65%. Additionally, the operating profit to interest ratio stands at a robust 7.31 times, indicating strong operational efficiency. The profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter is reported at Rs 13.92 crore, marking a growth of 23.2% compared to the previous four-quarter average.

However, not all metrics are favorable. The PAT for the latest six months has seen a decline of 33.85%, which raises concerns about the company's overall profitability. Furthermore, non-operating income constitutes 41.72% of profit before tax, suggesting a reliance on income sources outside of core operations.

In terms of market performance, IRM Energy's stock has shown mixed results compared to the Sensex. Over the past week, the stock returned 4.42%, while it has underperformed over the month and year-to-date, with returns of -0.82% and -12.73%, respectively. The company’s performance over the past year has been particularly challenging, with a decline of 33.15%, contrasting with the Sensex's modest drop of 0.84%.
