Telecommunication Equipment Sector Faces Pressure as ITI Stock Declines for Third Day

ITI, a large-cap player in the telecommunication equipment industry, has experienced a notable decline of 4.64% on April 25, 2025. This drop marks the third consecutive day of losses for the stock, which has seen a total decline of 5.38% over this period. During today's trading, ITI reached an intraday low of Rs 268.1, reflecting a decrease of 3.61%.
In terms of performance metrics, ITI has underperformed compared to its sector, lagging by 2.29%. Over the past week, the stock has shown a slight gain of 0.49%, while its one-month performance stands at 1.96%. However, the three-month outlook reveals a significant decline of 22.92%, and the year-to-date performance is down by 31.28%.

Despite these challenges, ITI has demonstrated resilience over the longer term, with a remarkable three-year growth of 163.09% and a five-year increase of 224.60%. Currently, the stock's moving averages indicate it is above the 20-day and 50-day averages but below the 5-day, 100-day, and 200-day averages. Meanwhile, the broader market, represented by the Sensex, is trading slightly negative at 79,716.85, down 0.11%.
