Johnson Controls-Hitachi Faces Mixed Financial Trends Amid Operational Challenges

Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a flat performance for the quarter ending June 2025. The company's score has notably decreased over the past three months, indicating a shift in its financial standing.
On a positive note, the company has reported a higher profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 73.69 crore over the last six months, alongside a robust return on capital employed (ROCE) of 12.87%. Additionally, the dividend per share (DPS) has reached its highest at Rs 15.00, with a dividend payout ratio (DPR) of 69.33%, showcasing a commitment to returning value to shareholders.

However, challenges persist as the company faces declining performance in key areas. Profit before tax (PBT) has fallen significantly to Rs 19.19 crore, a decrease of 50.17%. The quarterly PAT has also dropped to Rs 17.62 crore, down 51.2%, while net sales for the quarter have decreased to Rs 852.63 crore, reflecting a 14.39% decline.

In terms of market performance, Johnson Controls-Hitachi has experienced varied returns compared to the Sensex. Over the past year, the stock has seen a decline of 20.15%, contrasting with the Sensex's modest gain of 2.54%. This trend highlights the company's need to address its operational challenges to align more closely with broader market performance.
