Kansai Nerolac Paints Faces Significant Profit Decline Amid Market Challenges

Kansai Nerolac Paints has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting challenges in its performance metrics for the quarter ending March 2025. The company's profit after tax (PAT) has reported a significant decline, standing at Rs 108.46 crore, which marks a decrease of 33.9% compared to the previous four-quarter average. Additionally, net sales have also fallen to Rs 1,816.65 crore, down by 6.5% from the same benchmark.
The company's operating profit to net sales ratio has reached a low of 9.12%, indicating pressure on profitability. Furthermore, the profit before tax, excluding other income, has dropped to Rs 106.43 crore, and earnings per share have fallen to Rs 1.34, both reflecting the company's current struggles.

In terms of market performance, Kansai Nerolac's stock has shown mixed results compared to the Sensex. Over the past year, the stock has declined by 9.83%, while the Sensex has gained 9.84%. In the three-year period, Kansai Nerolac's return has been negative at -14.22%, contrasting sharply with the Sensex's impressive growth of 47.25%.
