KPI Green Energy Reports Strong Financial Metrics Amid Rising Interest Expenses and Low ROCE

KPI Green Energy has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a shift in its evaluation. The company reported robust financial performance for the quarter ending June 2025, achieving record highs in several key metrics. Notably, net sales reached Rs 602.94 crore, while PBDIT stood at Rs 206.07 crore. Profit before tax, excluding other income, was recorded at Rs 138.37 crore, and profit after tax hit Rs 104.21 crore, with earnings per share at Rs 5.27.
However, the company faces challenges as well. The return on capital employed (ROCE) for the half-year is notably low at 12.81%, and interest expenses have surged to Rs 38.20 crore, indicating potential financial strain.
