Landmark Cars Reports Mixed Financial Trends Amidst Sales Growth and Profitability Challenges

Landmark Cars, a small-cap player in the automobile industry, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a more stable performance in its latest quarter ending June 2025. The company reported net sales of Rs 2,152.94 crore, showcasing a growth rate of 26.95% over the last six months. Additionally, the profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at Rs 6.91 crore, marking a significant growth of 45.0% compared to the previous four-quarter average.
However, not all metrics are performing positively. The PAT for the latest six months has declined by 40.33%, indicating challenges in sustaining profitability. Furthermore, interest expenses have risen to Rs 60.82 crore, reflecting a growth of 28.34%. Notably, non-operating income accounted for 52.17% of profit before tax, raising concerns about the sustainability of earnings.

In terms of market performance, Landmark Cars has faced challenges compared to the Sensex. Over the year-to-date period, the stock has declined by 18.54%, while the Sensex has gained 2.92%. This contrast highlights the need for the company to address its profitability issues while capitalizing on its sales growth to enhance overall performance.
