Ludlow Jute Shows Financial Stabilization Amid Declining Sales and Rising Costs

Ludlow Jute & Specialities has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a flat performance for the quarter ending March 2025. The company's score has shown notable improvement over the past three months, indicating a stabilization in its financial metrics.
Key performance indicators reveal that Ludlow Jute has achieved its highest operating profit to interest ratio at 2.73 times, alongside a peak PBDIT of Rs 10.10 crore. The operating profit to net sales ratio stands at 10.66%, and the profit before tax, less other income, reached Rs 2.97 crore. Additionally, the company reported its highest profit after tax of Rs 2.52 crore and earnings per share of Rs 2.33.

However, challenges persist, as net sales have declined to Rs 94.79 crore, reflecting a significant drop of 25.67%. The latest six-month period shows a negative PAT of Rs -0.08 crore, with a decrease of 35.24%. Interest expenses have also reached a peak of Rs 3.70 crore.
