Maruti Suzuki Sees Surge in Call Options Trading with 9,982 Contracts at ₹13,000 Strike

The call option with a strike price of 13,000 led the activity with 9,982 contracts traded, generating a turnover of approximately Rs 361.50 lakhs and an open interest of 8,403. Following closely, the 12,600 strike price option recorded 8,350 contracts traded and a turnover of Rs 927.69 lakhs, with an open interest of 5,167. Other notable strike prices include 12,800, 12,700, and 12,500, with respective contracts traded of 7,284, 6,924, and 6,164.

In terms of performance metrics, Maruti Suzuki has outperformed its sector by 0.88% today, with a stock return of 1.26% compared to a sector return of 0.17% and a Sensex decline of 0.24%. The stock has been on a positive trajectory, gaining for two consecutive days with a total return of 1.55% during this period. Furthermore, it is currently trading above its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, indicating a strong market position.

Despite a notable drop in delivery volume, which fell by 53.98% against the 5-day average, the stock remains liquid enough for trades sized at Rs 7.56 crore, reflecting its robust market cap of Rs 3,96,996.13 crore. Overall, Maruti Suzuki's activity today highlights its significant presence in the market and ongoing investor engagement.
