Surge in Active Put Options for Maruti Suzuki: 21,249 Contracts at 14,300 Strike

This was followed by the 14,200 strike price put, which recorded 16,051 contracts and a turnover of Rs 295.02 lakhs. The 14,000 strike price put also attracted attention, with 13,650 contracts traded and a turnover of Rs 116.23 lakhs.
The underlying stock value for Maruti Suzuki stands at Rs 14,450, just 0.43% away from its 52-week high of Rs 14,478. Despite a slight one-day return of -0.24%, the stock has outperformed its sector by 0.38%. However, it has experienced a trend reversal after three consecutive days of gains, trading within a narrow range of Rs 68.

Investor participation has seen a decline, with delivery volume dropping by 58.15% compared to the five-day average. Nevertheless, Maruti Suzuki remains liquid enough for trades, with a market cap of Rs 4,53,274.19 crore, indicating its strong position in the large-cap segment.
