Muthoot Microfin Reports Strong Profit Growth Amid Declining Sales Performance

Muthoot Microfin has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a notable shift in its performance metrics for the quarter ending June 2025. The company reported a robust operating cash flow of Rs 1,382.03 crore, marking a significant achievement in its financial operations. Additionally, profit before tax, excluding other income, reached Rs 5.32 crore, demonstrating a remarkable growth rate of 107.3% compared to the previous four-quarter average. Similarly, profit after tax stood at Rs 6.18 crore, with a growth of 111.1% in the same comparative period.
However, not all indicators are positive. The company's net sales for the quarter were recorded at Rs 558.62 crore, reflecting a decline of 12.8% against the previous four-quarter average. This drop in sales could be a concern as it contrasts with the strong growth seen in profitability metrics.
