National Aluminium Company Reports Strong Financial Metrics Amid Market Challenges

National Aluminium Company has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a significant improvement in its performance metrics for the quarter ending September 2025. The company reported an operating cash flow of Rs 5,806.11 crore, marking a robust financial position. Additionally, the profit after tax for the latest six months reached Rs 2,479.42 crore, showcasing a notable growth rate of 51.70%. Net sales for the first nine months amounted to Rs 13,367.11 crore, which represents a growth of 28.08%. The return on capital employed (ROCE) also reached a high of 41.36%, indicating effective utilization of capital. Other positive indicators include an inventory turnover ratio of 8.92 times and cash and cash equivalents of Rs 7,586.55 crore, both of which are at their highest levels. However, the company faces challenges, particularly with its dividend payout ratio, which stands at a low of 36.22%. In terms of market performance, National Aluminium has outperformed the Sensex over various time frames, including a year-to-date return of 23.19% compared to the Sensex's 8.72%. Over three years, the stock has surged by 246.18%, significantly exceeding the Sensex's 37.57% return. This strong performance underscores the company's resilience and growth trajectory in the non-ferrous metals industry.
