Nava, a small-cap power industry player, has reported a decline in key performance metrics for the quarter ending September 2025, including a significant drop in profit after tax. Nava, a small-cap player in the power industry, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment reflecting a decline in its performance metrics for the quarter ending September 2025. The company's financial score has notably dropped, indicating challenges in its operational efficiency and profitability. On a positive note, Nava has reported its highest dividend per share (DPS) at Rs 8.00, alongside a robust dividend payout ratio (DPR) of 53.71%. Additionally, the company holds substantial cash and cash equivalents, amounting to Rs 17,860.10 crore, which provides a cushion for its operations.
However, several key performance indicators reveal areas of concern. The profit after tax (PAT) has significantly decreased to Rs 129.78 crore, reflecting a sharp decline of 47.9%. Other metrics, such as return on capital employed (ROCE) at 15.33%, and operating profit to net sales at 32.71%, are at their lowest levels. Furthermore, the earnings per share (EPS) has also reached a low of Rs 4.57.
In terms of market performance, Nava has shown resilience over the longer term, with impressive returns over three and five years, significantly outpacing the Sensex. However, recent trends indicate a decline in short-term performance, with a notable drop in stock value compared to the broader market.
