Pradhin Faces Financial Challenges Amidst Strong Sales Growth in Iron and Steel Sector

Pradhin, a microcap player in the iron and steel products industry, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment reflecting a flat performance for the quarter ending September 2025. The company's financial score has notably declined, indicating challenges in its recent operations.
On a positive note, Pradhin reported net sales of Rs 151.74 crore for the first nine months, showcasing a significant growth rate of 79.30%. Additionally, the profit after tax (PAT) for the latest six months stands at Rs 7.43 crore, highlighting some operational strengths.

However, the company faces considerable hurdles. The quarterly PAT has dropped sharply to Rs 0.26 crore, a decline of 91.3% compared to the previous four-quarter average. Furthermore, net sales for the quarter reached a low of Rs 8.00 crore, while the PBDIT also fell to Rs -0.18 crore. The operating profit to net sales ratio is at its lowest, recorded at -2.25%, and the profit before tax less other income is at Rs -0.17 crore.

In terms of market performance, Pradhin's stock has struggled significantly over various time frames, with a year-to-date return of -61.83%, contrasting sharply with the Sensex's positive return of 8.53%. This trend underscores the challenges Pradhin faces in a competitive market environment.
