Rain Industries, a microcap player in the petrochemicals sector, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a notable improvement in its performance metrics for the quarter ending June 2025. The company reported its highest operating profit to interest ratio at 2.76 times, indicating strong operational efficiency. Additionally, net sales reached an impressive Rs 4,401.38 crore, while PBDIT stood at Rs 629.24 crore, both marking significant achievements for the firm.Other key performance indicators also showcased strength, with the operating profit to net sales ratio at 14.30%, profit before tax (PBT) less other income at Rs 176.07 crore, and a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 60.70 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) also hit a high of Rs 1.80, underscoring the company's robust financial health.
However, not all metrics are favorable, as the dividend payout ratio (DPR) is currently at a low of -5.96%, which may raise concerns among stakeholders.
