RBL Bank Ltd, a prominent player in the private sector banking industry, has experienced a significant increase in open interest (OI) today. The latest OI stands at 60,256 contracts, marking a notable rise of 21,836 contracts or 56.83% from the previous OI of 38,420. This surge in OI coincides with a trading volume of 96,673 contracts, indicating heightened activity in the derivatives market.
In terms of financial metrics, RBL Bank's futures value is reported at approximately Rs 412.26 lakhs, while the options value is significantly higher at around Rs 22,262.10 crores, bringing the total value to Rs 416.86 lakhs. The underlying value of the stock is currently at Rs 235.

Despite this increase in OI, RBL Bank's stock has underperformed its sector by 0.89% today, with a 1D return of -0.64%. The stock has also seen a trend reversal after three consecutive days of gains. It remains above its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, although delivery volume has decreased by 3.1% compared to the 5-day average.
